*Meet Hilton Head's dolphin population and visit a vanishing island. Collect shells and observe local wildlife. A Lowcountry favorite!*#
---
Description
This three-hour boat cruise incorporates a two-hour Hilton Head dolphin tour with the added bonus of getting off the boat onto a remote vanishing island. Search for shells, sand dollars, crabs, starfish, and the occasional sharks tooth. Lowcountry sandbars are only available to visit at low tide, so this trip leaves at different times each day depending on the tide. We encourage clothing appropriate for water activities and bringing water, snacks, and sunscreen.

Turn off HWY 278 Business into Shelter Cove Harbor, directly across from Palmetto Dunes Resort, between mile markers 8 and 9. Traveling eastbound, turn RIGHT into Shelter Cove Harbor. If traveling westbound, Shelter Cove Harbor will be on your LEFT. Once you turn off the highway take an immediate left onto Shelter Cove Lane. Signs will direct you to the Ship Store and Ela's Grille. Shelter Cove Lane goes 1 mile and ends at a parking lot. Please park in this lot. You will check in at our kiosk (outdoor desk), Located between the parking lot and the docks.
During the Summer, Shelter Cove Marina is very busy and parking fills up quickly. We strongly recommend arriving early to secure parking. If the lot near our outpost is full there is more parking near the shops to the left of the Neptune statue. Please park and walk toward the water side of the marina and follow the pathway to the left until you arrive at our desk located near the southwest corner of the marina next to the Ship's Store and Ela's Grille.
Unless otherwise noted, all programs include everything except gratuity for your guide and/or captain.
##Here is what to bring for your activity:
Wear clothing that would be comfortable for a walk on the beach that day. The boat ride will be much cooler - think the current temperature outside with an air-conditioner blowing right on you - so bring an extra outer-layer or shell. Sun protection is important, regardless of the weather or season. We strongly recommend water shoes, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Please bring a reusable water bottle. During Spring and Fall mornings and evenings bug spray may be necessary.
##We look forward to having you join us Outside, on the water!
