Departing from Moss Landing, perfectly located between Monterey and Santa Cruz, the National Marine Sanctuary “hotspot” for whales, a well-known destination where whales feed.
**Seasickness**
Come prepared. If you are sensitive to motion or you’ve never experienced an open ocean before, be precautious, and take motion sickness medicine one day prior to your trip. Dramamine is well-known in the U.S to help with motion sickness, and it's available at any drug store. If you prefer more natural methods, ginger candies before and during the trip can be of great help.
**Restrooms**
There is one toilet on the boat.
There is also a public restroom available in Moss Landing Marina. We recommend using the restroom before trips.

##Arrival & Parking
Arrive 30 Minutes Early. Moss Landing Marina has a parking lot available in front of the departing pier. Make sure to arrive 30 minutes prior to trip departure in order to pay your parking ticket. We will meet you at the picnic tables outside of B dock just prior to trip departure for a safety orientation and for all passengers to sign the pre-boarding waiver.
##Weather & What to Wear/ Bring
- Monterey Bay weather conditions vary greatly including fog during summers.
The weather varies between cold and warm during Spring, and mostly cold during Summer. That's why we recommend dressing in layers. It’s good to be prepared.
- Pack warm clothing for your comfort during the tour. Dress code: Layers such as fleece, warm jacket, wind jacket, long pants, and closed shoes to assure your comfort.
- Bring enough water for yourself. Feel free to bring snacks as well. Snacks are not included.
- Be conscious while packing. There is space for one small bag/daypack per person.
