On our whale watching tours you’ll get a once in a lifetime educational experience.
We have the most experienced skippers in Northern California. Our renowned skippers have the skills, knowledge and experience to navigate our huge Marine Sanctuary.
We will take you to the marine life. Our skippers are known for their ability to find Gray whales, Killer whales, dolphins, turtles, porpoises and a variety and many different types or marine life.
We offer full service guided Family Friendly whale watching tours year around in the third largest deep submarine canyon in the world.
The Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary is the home to 27 species of marine mammals, 100+ species of marine birds, 345 species of fish and the leatherback turtle.

#What to Wear
The wind and temperature on the water can be significantly cooler so we recommend that you dress in **warm layers, wear long pants**, and a warm windproof jacket.
Also a wide brimmed hat or baseball cap and a warm cap along with flat-soled closed toed shoes are a good idea. The Bay gets sunny so bring **sunglasses** and don't forget sunblock and chapstick.

#What to Bring
**Bring your camera!** There are plenty of photo opportunities along the way that you won't want to miss. Some of our best pictures come from our guests!
If you'd like to purchase beverages or snacks we have them available in our shop for purchase during check-in time. There are no snacks or drinks available for purchase on the boat.

#Other Tips & Guidelines
**NOTE: SOMETIMES DEPARTURES MAY BE DELAYED UP TO 30 MINUTES DUE TO WEATHER, LATE RETURNING PREVIOUS TRIP, OR OTHER CONDITIONS.** Thank you for your patience if this comes up.
Please keep in mind that the cruise can last between **2.5 and 3 hours**, so plan the rest of your day in Monterey accordingly.

#Parking
For Parking use 201 Washington Street. Chris's Whale Watching is located half way down the historic Old Fisherman’s Wharf #1 in Monterey, CA. From Pacific Coast Highway 1, follow the signs to Fisherman’s Wharf where you will find plenty of parking. Parking in the wharf parking lot is $1.75 per hour. After a short walk down the wharf, you will find our orange building, and naturalists waiting to welcome you!
We are located at the end of Old Fisherman's Wharf No. 1. Please note that there are many different boats housed on the wharf. Ours is the **blue "Chris's Whale Watching" sign in front of the blue and orange building**.
