# Winter Whale Cruise – Important Information
Thank you for booking with Wildlife Coast Cruises. We're excited to welcome you onboard as we head out into Bass Strait in search of migrating whales, dolphins and other incredible marine wildlife. Please take a moment to read the information below to help you prepare for your cruise.
## Check-In & Boarding
Please arrive **30 minutes before departure** to allow time for parking and any delays.
Boarding commences **15 minutes prior to departure** from **Rhyll Jetty, 16 Beach Road, Rhyll**. Please have your QR code ready, as our crew will check you in at the vessel.
There is plenty of **free all-day parking** along Beach Road. Please ensure you leave enough time to park and walk to the jetty.
If you're running late or need help finding us, please call **(03) 5952 9500**. Cruises depart on time, and if you miss your departure, your fare will be forfeited and cannot be transferred or refunded.
## What to Bring
Winter at Phillip Island can be quite cold, so we recommend dressing warmly. Don't forget your camera and sunglasses, and if you have them, a keep cup and binoculars.
## Whale Sightings
While we can't guarantee whale sightings, previous seasons have recorded an **approximately 80% success rate**.
## Weather, Conditions & Cruise Operations
Cruises may be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather or minimum passenger numbers. If this occurs, we'll contact you as early as possible and offer a transfer or refund.
This tour travels into open waters where sea conditions can vary, and vessel movement may cause motion sickness. We recommend taking appropriate precautions before your cruise.
We're here to help via phone, email, WhatsApp and WeChat, and we recommend checking your email before departure for any important updates.
Please be respectful to our crew and fellow guests. Disruptive behaviour may result in refusal of boarding or removal from the vessel without refund.
## Food & Dietary Requirements
During your cruise we'll serve **locally made pastries and muffins**, along with complimentary tea and coffee.
A small onboard kiosk also offers cold drinks and light snacks, including chocolate bars, chips and cup noodles.
We cater for **vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free** dietary requirements. Please let our team know before your cruise so we can prepare an alternative option for morning or afternoon tea.
